Paul Revere

Today in class we learned about Paul Revere and how he spread the word of the enclosing British. We heard the in depth poem and discussed the small details that had a big meaning such as the moonlight and the spark of the horses hooves. The spark of the hooves on the concrete created the spark on the revolutionary war, since this event was the start. We went in depth on how the moonlight was the only light from the night. Revere woke up the minutemen and the townspeople as he was riding through the important towns and cities. Off of topic we discussed the women right protest and how protests are meant to be. Protests are meant to be peaceful and with peace the point can be understood better. We watched the Andy Griffith show and listened to how he described the ride of Paul Revere and how it started off the revolutionary war.
